In today’s world what would a “communal spring” be?  In the past it has been, and for many still remains,  the gift of water coming forth from the ground.  There a community  quenches their thrust,  and  is provided some stability in very hard times.  Thus, this spring was enjoyed but also safeguarded and maintained by all- communally. 

Here the spring  symbolizes something that comes forth, and helps nurture our community’s needs;  Ideas, culture, dialogue.... and other endeavors and projects that quench our community.  Here to we believe not only in the safeguarding and maintaining of these communal springs, but also believe in creating of them, however large or small.
